Traveled to Denver on Delta. Arriving at DIA, headed out in the rental car to Jack-N-Gill. This
place has been featured on the TV show Man V. Food.
Here's the building, doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't be fooled. The place was packed inside. On the walls are pictures from those who won the challenge. Awards fill an entire wall, and on another wall are things that say the word Jack.
Here's the food, regular burrito, rice, taco sampler above that, and desert. What did it taste like? One of the best Mexican dishes I've ever eaten. I didn't have to add any seasonings to the burrito, and it tasted perfect.
Next we checked into our hotel, the Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge. This is a timeshare property located at the base of Peak 9.
Here's what the room looked like.
Views from the window of the mountain. The QuickSilver
Superchair lift to Peak 9. In the 2nd picture is the village.
I rented my ski equipment form this place.
Pictures from the top of the QuickSilver lift, easy green runs are here leading back to the base of Peak 9. You'll find lots of kids with parents on these runs.
Pictures on the way up to Peak 8. In the last picture is a shot looking down Peak 8 where a run called "Four O'Clock" starts.
We ate at a restaurant called Rasta Pasta located on main street.
Keystone resort. In the 3rd picture is Mozart trail. Pictures 4-6 are of a green trail called Schoolnarm.
Eric's is a really cool dive bar place underground from Main
Street. There's a game room, and the restaurant.
Quarter chicken dish, and Pizza.
Another Man V. Food place we visited in Denver was Duffy's
The signature item here is a 1/2 pound burger with cream cheese and jalapeņos.
